INVENTORY ANALYSIS Inventory products can be designated by SIZE(GRADE), if dealing in caliper, height, or container. Inventory products can be designated by READY DATE(REDY) if dealing in bedding plants and/or greenhouse environment. Ability to use up to 12 alphanumeric characters for item number. Multiple lines of description are available to establish common names, generic name, color, etc. This information is an open dialog area and can be entered however the customer wishes. This information is then used to alphabetically lookup and find products throughout the software system. Establish and control inventory in multiple companies/divisions/item numbers/locations/lot numbers/size-redy. Ability to maintain different selling units. Establish a weight factor and a quantity for each product. Establish cost per item/size-redy, for profit calculation on sales reports and for valuing inventory. Establish product class for each item, group like product classes together on sales reports. Establish product type as to F = finished goods, W = weight, C = Component, B = burden, etc. Up to three(3) different selling prices, per inventory product, size/redy code. Three(3) levels of quantity break per product/size-redy designating percentage discount or dollar discount. Establish substitute product code for quick reference. Setup two(2) different vendors per product, including vendor's product number and description for Purchase Order. Establish minimum and maximum stocking levels. Establish lead-time on normal delivery of purchased product. Ability to adjust inventory with security clearance. Inventory history reporting by product. Inventory analysis report showing movement. Change selling price automatically based upon a percentage factor. Once new year pricing has been established, system has ability to update all open customer orders with current pricing. Establish UPC Code by Item/Product Code. Inventory system has the option to allow entry, per item, of open dialog, representing anything the customer desires, like growing characteristics, for quick reference. Inventory system allows for the entry of production dates and/or notes. The information then becomes available for reference at a later time.
